What you end up with
A short written document that says what you want to do to your home, why, what matters most to you, what you can spend, and what you're worried about. The questions are plain and the tone is friendly — it feels more like a conversation than a form. At the end you get a private link and a PDF.
It's the same thing we'd spend the first hour of a meeting working out with you. Doing it on your own, in your own time, means you arrive already clear.
Why we'd rather you did this first
When people come to a first conversation with a brief, the conversation is about the house, not about finding the words. We ask fewer questions and you get more out of the time. It also makes it easier — for both of us — to tell early whether we're the right fit, which is a good outcome either way.
And a brief is useful well beyond us. Take it to a builder, a draftsperson, a friend who's done this before. Clarity is the point. Hiring us is optional.
Got your brief? Let's talk it through.
A discovery call is twenty minutes, free, and not a pitch. We read your brief beforehand, so you spend the time on the questions that actually matter.
